New Orleans:

Psychiatric services in New Orleans have been sorely needed. We’re so glad to help our fellow New Orleanians. For years, our patients have been driving to the North Shore for their care. The New Orleans clinic, in its central location, just two blocks off of St Charles Avenue, will provide a convenient location for our patient’s coming from Metairie, Mid City, Uptown, the West Bank, and Jefferson. Minus traffic, it’s about 15 minutes from the majority of the greater New Orleans population.

Nurse Practitioners:

Psychiatric Nurse Practioner, Jaime Loebner, APRN will be the primary nurse practitioner at the New Orleans clinic. A psychiatric nurse practitioner is an RN who has pursued further Master’s level training to gain the ability to prescribe medicine to treat psychiatric illness. A psychiatric nurse practitioner works with the psychiatrist, collaboratively practicing in the same style as the psychiatrist. Hundreds of hours and many months are typically spent with the psychiatrist and nurse practitioner training together to help ensure that their practice models are as close as possible. Both nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists do their best to follow community, standard of care guidelines to deliver the best possible care.

Location:

The clinic is located at the end of the 2nd block off of St Charles Avenue, on the corner of Baronne and Martin Luther King. When taking the St Charles exit off of the Pontchartrain Expressway, the first traffic light you’ll come to is Erato, keep going. The second traffic light you’ll come to is Martin Luther King. You’ll see a Voodoo Bar BQ on the corner. Take a right here onto MLK. Go down MLK for two blocks until you get to Baronne Street. We are the blue building on the left. Take a left on Baronne Street. You’ll need a key code to get into the parking lot or you can park on the street and use the access gate. Either way, a code will be needed to enter the premises. Upon calling the clinic and providing the patient’s name and date of birth, an access code will be provided to you. Click here to contact us!
